STDs require immediate medical evaluation and treatment. While there are numerous STDs that show no initial indication of infections and symptoms take a while to surface, there are a few indications such as a discharge, burning sensation or pain while urinating. Our lab panels are designed to detect the presence of the antibodies responsible for diseases, current panels for Herpes Testing, Hepatitis Testing, HIV Screens, Chlamydia Testing, Gonorrhea Testing.

Why are these sexual health tests performed?

Sexually transmitted diseases, commonly called STDs, are diseases that are spread by having sex with someone who has an STD. According to the American Social Health Organization, one out of four teens in the United States becomes infected with an STD each year and by the age of 25, half of all sexually active young adults will get an STD. STDs are serious illnesses that require treatment. Some STDs, like HIV, cannot be cured so its important to keep yourself and your family protected.
